Some Badgers and Foxes

Sorry there hasn't been a post for the last two weeks, I forgot that I was going on holdiday and didn't say that I wouldn't be able to make any posts. Anyway, lets have a look at some camera trap footage from late July. The first animal to stop by was a badger on the first night:

An hour later, one of the young foxes came by Believe it or not, this is one of the same foxes that we got back in May. It just shows how fast they grow.

The  young fox came back the next night when we got my favourite photo of the post, this one of it stood on the logs which I put out for the birds to land on:

That's all for this weeks post. Remember to leave a comment and thanks for reading.

Terns, Sandpiper & A Kite

Here is some footage from sandbach flashes from a few weeks ago:

Some very distant (that's why the quality is so bad) common terns were among the birds I saw:

A big flock of a mix of birds including gulls, curlews, lapwings and other species:

They were mostly all scared off by a red kite flying over:

Here is a common sandpiper:

A flock of lapwings:

And finally a grey heron:

That's all for today's post. Next week will be looking at some of the latest camera trap footage including some of the young foxes and some new badger footage
