Latest Sightings

Like the post with the dipper a few weeks ago, I'm going to do a quick round up of all the latest sightings, and this post is going to be very similiar as I've seen a lot of the same things.

Yorkshire

For example, when i was in Yorkshire the other week I saw another dipper.

Next up is a new bird for the blog, two pink-footed geese with a small flock of canadas:

Here's a heron:

A teal:

I was excited to see my first common sandpipers of the year:

Blog Woods

Back at home, I found the woodpecker's nest.

I saw this Lapwing the other day, and two on another occasion making it a new species to add to the total for the regular blog woods.

Last week I was on my way back from getting the camera trap when I suddenly saw one of the fox cubs we had just had on the camera trap. Sorry the photo isn't great as I took them with my phone.

Blog Woods Update

Hi everyone, I've come back to update this post as when I was collecting the camera trap the other day I saw two of the fox cubs again. They were sat there for about five minutes and I got some great footage.
Definitely some of my favourite footage of the year.

That's all for today's post. Stay tuned for some exciting new posts coming soon.
