Fox's Face and Brilliant Badger

 Here is a photo of a fox. We only got the fox's face but it is better than nothing.

Here is a Brilliant badger!

Badger Burrow

 In April, we went to see some badgers. We had food, drink, warm clothes, the camera and binoculars. The only thing is the badgers were very far away. On the other side of the hill no less. So this post shows what the badgers are up to when we aren't looking!

It has been a while since I have posted so here is some stuff we missed!

Wildlife spotting

 Today instead of putting out the camera trap I decided to see some of the animals for myself. Me and my Dad found some badger sets and got comfy. However, the first thing we saw was not a badger. After half an hour of waiting and seeing nothing we finally saw a fox upon the edge of the woods where we normally put out the camera trap. The fox was hard to make out but we could just about see it.

After about five minutes we spotted another fox which came a lot closer to us but still no badgers. 

Finally we saw not one, but two badgers!

For this set of camera trap pictures we put out some seed and some raw chicken which the fox gobbled up.

Winter Badger

 The badger was the animal I least expected to get in winter.  This time we put the camera trap on a steep bank up from a river not far from our house.
