A Fox - At The Badger Set?

In today's post, we will take a look at the latest from the badger set. I have to admit, even I didn't expect what we got. Seeing as all the dates are wrong (the times are too) we will go through them in a random order.

Squirrel

To get an idea of what the area looked like in the day, here are a few photos followed by a video of a squirrel.

Mouse/Mystery Creature

We also got a mouse.
Next up we have a small creature which appears in the bottom left corner at the end of the video. It is hard to tell what it is. It could be something like a weasel but we have never had one of them on the camera trap before. So it's either something like that or another mouse.

Badgers
It's not much of a surprise that we got badgers next to the badger burrow. all together, we got three videos but one is not worth showing. Watch this one until the end as the badger comes back.

This next one is the best badger video we got out of the three. Towards the end, it looks out across the valley (if you didn't know, their set is very difficult to get to as it is on the side of a valley - check out some other badger set posts) as if it has seen (or smelt) something. Maybe a fox?

Fox
Speaking of foxes, that is another animal we got at the badger set - one which I didn't expect. Foxes and badgers typically stay away from each other. However, foxes will check out to see if the badger set is not in use and will then move in. That could be what this one is doing. I was very pleased to get a fox as we haven't had one since September! Although, being England, the weather hasn't been the best lately. The fox comes in on the left-hand side.

That's all for today's post. Stay tuned to find out what we see next. Remember to leave a comment and thanks for reading!
