June In The Woods

We didn't get loads on the camera trap this week, I think the heat might have put most animals off coming out too much, so it's going to be a quick short post.

On the first night this adult fox came out (probably the vixen).

We got a robin in the morning:

And patchwing appeared:

The next day this balckbird appeared:

And this squirrel:

The fox came back:

Another blackbird:

Here's a wood mouse:

Patchwing the jay again:

That was pretty much all we got. A pretty quiet week, although I'm trying a new spot on the other end of the woods. It is up on the hill at the highest point in the woods and is in a more coniferous area rather than the usual lowland decidious woods at the bottom. The area also has a lot of ground vegetation (mainly ferns and brambles), and I'm hoping for some interesting bird life and maybe even some good mammal footage. I believe the deer hang out up there often.

Remeber to leave a comment and thanks for reading.
